Long in the making, this contemporary tragicomedy tells the story of globetrotter and businessman Petr, his close friend Tereza and a myriad other women the fickle adventurer likes to surround himself with. His latest deal, however, doesn't go well at all and, apart from a gang of thugs, he's also hounded by his own conscience. (Karlovy Vary International Film Festival)

This looked interesting already in the trailer, which was confirmed by the movie itself. The plot has some holes in it, but it’s bearable. That is, if you don’t mind that the protagonist has an accident in a field close to Prachatice, and his friend coming for him from Prague takes like five minutes to get there. And the same goes later for Brno and Ostrava, as if every city in our country was just behind the corner. Anyhow, it is filmed well and the actors were incredibly entertaining. I hope to see Pavel Batěk, Filip Blažek and Vica Kerekes in more movies in the future. They are easy on the eyes and very good actors.

When the cosmopolitan poster appeared in the summer months, the only question of uncertainty was whether the proclaimed faces could withstand such a project in Czech conditions. Surprisingly, both Vica Kerekes and Pavel Batěk are up to it. Vica can play a distinctive and sexy girl without cheap vulgarization and Batěk is an interesting alternative to the main protagonists of today, although he is the same visual type as Matěj Hádek. The third main character is played by Filip Blažek, who, after years of theater and TV work, also knows how to find a suitable position that does no harm and is fully helpful to the whole. Issová and Přeučil took the supporting roles just to make sure, and the only one who again didn't pay attention to anything integral and created an original acting etude on the theme was Lábus, but that's why we all like him so much. So, in sum, can a Czech-Slovak film travel from Prague to Brno, Ostrava, and Beijing and still remain interesting, suspenseful, and believable? And also deal with a cliffhanger of a gradation that is unmatched even by the world's best melodramas? Yes, it can. I’m thankful we have it. Cosmopolitanism be damned, this year I'd like to see All My Tomorrows as the favorite to receive the award for best Czech film.

Mehr von solchen tschechischen Filmen, bitte. Nur mit einem besseren Drehbuch. All My Tomorrows ist nämlich ein geschickt aufgenommenes und gespieltes Vakuum, das auf einigen "bewährten“ Klischees baut (besonders der romantische Plot ist schrecklich). Die originellen Dinge und Figuren, die mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient hätten, behandelt er nur flüchtig (vor allem den Mafioso von Jiří Lábus). Rudolf Havlík hat aber Talent.

Schlecht erzählte Geschichte mit einem unsympathischen Hauptcharakter, der sich wie der größte Idiot verhält und dabei ständig in Voice-Overs pseudo-philosophisches Geschwafel von sich gibt. Die Handlung ist dumm und die "komischen" Handlungsstränge funktionieren nicht (ich habe während des gesamten Films nur zweimal gelacht). Die beste Figur ist der Freund des Hauptcharakters, dargestellt von Filip Blažek, der ein echter Kerl ist. Denn wenn ich mit dem Auto von Prag nach Prachatice und zurück fahren und dann wieder nach Ostrava fahren müsste, wann immer es der Hauptcharakter verlangt, würde ich ehrlich gesagt darauf pfeifen. Handwerklich ist der Film nicht schlecht, aber inhaltlich ist er furchtbar.

Bei Debüts bin ich immer gnädiger. Rudolf Havlík hat es selbst ausgedacht, geschrieben und dann Regie geführt. Man könnte dem Streifen viel vorwerfen, vor allem das Drehbuch hätte eine etwas erfahrenere Hand verdient, aber ich möchte gern das Positive hervorheben. In erster Linie sind es die anständigen schauspielerischen Leistungen. Von den schauspielerischen Qualitäten Pavel Batěks wissen alle Theater- und wahrscheinlich auch Serienfans, Vica spielte eine etwas andere Rolle, als man es bei ihm gewohnt ist, und auch bei ihr passte diese gut. Und auch die Nebenrollen waren eine Freude - Lábus, Přeučil, Blažek. Und was das Wichtigste ist, im Rahmen des Musikfestivals habe ich mich gut abreagiert und mehrmals von Herzen laut gelacht. Die witzigsten Szenen betrafen die Betäubung und die Kleptomanie. Insgesamt bewegt sich die Bewertung zwischen drei und vier Sternen, doch für das Debüt und die gute Laune hebe ich sie an. Der zweite Film von Havlík wird dann sicher vom Drehbuch her sicherer sein.

There wasn't as much romance as usual, but a typical Czech cringeworthy attempt at a dramatic action scene ruined everything. The writing was pathetic, just like I had expected, and so were the acting performances, thanks to which Filip Blažek clearly stood out as a star. The subplots were quite bizarre. I couldn't find a reason to give it a single star. Still, if Rudolf Havlík made a fifteen-minute short film in which Pavel Batěk and Filip Blažek brutally beat Michal Kavalčík, I would immediately give it five stars and add it to my top ten. / Lesson learned: Every psychologist should have their own psychologist.

I don't know if it was really meant to be a comedy, because it doesn't really work in that way in my opinion, but it does work as a romance, and it has a little bit of something grittier, but again it doesn't go beyond that. Vica is unfortunately quite annoying here, although she still looks incredibly good. The characters overall failed to draw me in that much. The filmmakers are good.
