Biografie

In 1994 he wrote and directed his first short film entitled Un Paradiso, finalist in Palermo Film festival in 1995. Two years later he co-wrote together with Antonio Capuano, the film Polvere di Napoli, directed by Capuano with Silvio Orlando. In 1997 he won the award Solinas for a film script entitled Napoletani and in 1998 he co-wrote with Humberto Contarello the film La Voce dell´Amore. That same year he wrote and directed the short film L´amore non ha Confini, produced by Indigo Film. This short film competed at Torino Film Festival among others and won several awards such as the Best Short Film in the Fifth Edition of Shortcircuit Festival. He wrote several episodes of La Squadra for Italian Television, until he entered in the world of feature film. His filmography includes L’uomo in più (2001), La notte lunga (2001), Le conseguenze del amore (2004), L’amico di famiglia (2006) and Il divo (2008).
