Christophe Honoré

In the 90s he published various books for young people, and also four novels. He collaborated on the writing of various scripts before his debut in 2002, Seventeen Times Cécila Cassard, a film which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section in Cannes. Since then, he has directed numerous films, most notable of which are Ma Mère (2004), Les chansons d’amour (2007), La Belle Personne (2008), Homme au bain (2010) and Métamorphoses (2014), all of them premiered at front line festivals such as Cannes, Venice and Locarno. Sorry Angel was part of the Official Section in Cannes. He also has an extensive career as a playwright and theatre director and he has directed several operas.
