Thunder Force

Extremely tasteless superhero comedy, but if you're willing or able to tune in to its very awkward style of humour, it works to some extent. After all, both of the actresses in the main roles are pretty talented, so they can deliver the jokes in a functional way, although the whole thing is bordering on idiocy. (09.04.2021)

A weak attempt at a comedy that wants to benefit from humor only because the main characters do not look like typical superheroes, but it even fails at that. I wondered how much better it could have been if the screenwriter (and the director in one) hadn't given Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer the powers, but instead to the girls who played their younger selves and who were literally great compared to everything that came later.
