Guy ist ein fixer Non Playing Character des Computerspieles 'Free City', einer virtuellen Stadt, in der Avatare der Spielergemeinde ihr Unwesen treiben. Sein monotones Durchschnittsleben ändert sich schlagartig, als er Molotovgirl begegnet. Zum ersten Mal handelt er eigenwillig. Um der Frau seines Lebens nahe zu kommen, will er als guter Held seinen Level als Spielcharakter erhöhen. Hinter Molotovgirl verbirgt sich Millie, die in der realen Welt das Spiel mit entwickelt hat.
