During filming for her final project, five film students watch a mysterious fireball shooting down the sky and then hitting the horizon far away. Convinced that it is a meteorite, they are on the way to the assumed impact point, in order to document the phenomenon with their cameras. In a remote forest area they find a burnt snow. Since it is already too dark to film, they set themselves up for the night. The next morning they must realize that one of them is missing. In the search for the missing, they first encounter a bloodstain and then make a horrible find: the tattered remains of their friend. When the students want to return to the car in panic, they get lost and get deeper and deeper into the wilderness. They soon realize that they are not alone there – for something is hunting for them. UFO: It Is Here tries to be a found footage classic. That of course includes the shaky camera, the picture quality isn't very good in order to make it clear that it's a handheld camera, there’s a group of people you really don't care about, and finally a storyline that disappointed me a lot. This is that classic theme of an invader or parasite and there's essentially nothing worthwhile in it. Nothing interesting happens in this film.
