All three films are connected by the theme of following a scientist who plays the role of a traveler between dimensions. It is clear where this part is going and what it is trying to tell us. The individual stories are not just linked by the same name but are meant to have a deeper connection. The demon that appears here could easily become iconic; it has the design for it. However, the films lack strength, as well as a more distinctive sense of their interconnectedness.
