This relationship comedy about the age-old clash of the male and female principles is based on the eponymous book by Miroslav Skála. Its protagonists are fiancées who set out on a holiday together to see if they are right for each other. Although every small detail of the pre-nuptial "test" trip has been planned by the uptight statistician, the spontaneity of his partner is systematically thwarting them. (Summer Film School)

Netter Partnertest mit der süßen und lebhaften Libuška Šafránková und dem ekelhaft behaarten und systematischen Josef Abrhám. Im Prinzip handelt es sich um einen etwas abgespeckten Aktion Kugelblitz (Abrhám als gestrenger Intellektueller, der leise innere Monologe hält), aber trotz der Anwesenheit des Svěrák-Smoljak-Duos und einiger typischer Gags (vor allem der mit den Verlusten und Funden ist großartig) ist er nicht annähernd so niveauvoll wie die Spitzenkreationen des Duos Smoljak-Podskalský. Aber es ist immer noch eine Qualitätskomödie in jeder Hinsicht über zwei Menschen, die versuchen, kurz vor ihrer Hochzeit auf einer Reise versuchen herauszufinden, ob sie zueinander passen oder nicht. Außerdem wird sie von angenehmer Musik begleitet, die wahrscheinlich von jemandem aus dem Duo Mišík-Hrubý stammt (wenn ich mich nicht irre, hihihi).

One of the films that I rank among the absolute top of Czech comedy (or comedy period). The clash of Krchňák's fantasy with the stark reality is brutal and he has to use all his skills, starting with blunt force and ending with brilliant map reading. I loved the film when I was a child and I still do.
