Englisch 51st KVIFF - Deadpool raped Turbo Kid. An entertaining anti-superhero prank that also has a dark, almost pathological side (the very unsexy sex scene in the changing room). 8/10 ()

Englisch An interesting film has come from Italy, on which it is visible that it was inspired by Japanese manga, but also by American mainstream comics. And there is also a European approach to it, a bit of social issues, although it is very close to the Japanese style. An unexpected delight that I enjoyed a lot. ()

Englisch 51st KVIFF – After watching the film, I had to look at the production year of the American Deadpool (the similarity is huge) and I found out that this Italian piece was created earlier. And personally, I have to say that I might have even liked it more. They Call Me Jeeg is an absolutely perfect European comic-like movie, which is quite unusual in itself. It’s a shame that sometimes, the brutalities seemed incredibly cruel in contrast with the European environment and script. And the awkward sex scene doesn’t exactly help, either. Even so, the movie offers an array of absolutely amazing and entertaining scenes which I already know I’ll never forget. And I won’t forget Luca Marinelli, who did an excellent job on her own version of the Batman Joker. And neither Claudio Santamaria, whose character reminded me that the main character does not necessarily have to stand out with their intelligence, but can also be relatively dull and stupid. Which is actually a good motto for this movie. ()
