Blonde Frauen, Brüste, Autos, harte Kerle, der Nachspann. Eine visuell attraktive Spielfilmversion von Baywatch - Die Rettungsschwimmer von Malibu mit Formeln. Es wäre ein fataler Fehler, diesen Film ernst zu nehmen. Renny Harlin hatte nur Spaß. Wir sollten zusammen mit ihm Spaß haben!

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, the racing scenes are perfectly directed, on the other, there’s Sly’s script full of clichés, including a chase scene in the streets of Tokio. I’m sorry for Renny Harlin, he's a terrific director who deserves good scripts and a little luck to get back in the spotlight. And I’m sorry for Sly, too, I have a weak spot for him. He tried to make a new Rocky, but it didn’t work out. Can this be his swan song?
