Diesmal nimmt Scooby-Doo Anleihen bei Alien, was auf den ersten Blick ersichtlich ist (Monster, "Roboter", Raumschiff ohne Fluchtmöglichkeit usw.) - und auch die leicht veränderte Optik ist offensichtlich. Was den Humor betrifft, so war diese Folge etwas trockener, aber auch geschickter animiert, so dass sich die Vor- und Nachteile die Waage hielten. Kurz gesagt, eine weitere der vielen "Abenteuer einer Gruppe von Kindern, die zufällig über ein Rätsel stolpern und es lösen".
