Der blinde Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) beginnt, nachts als maskierter Rächer das Verbrechen in Hell’s Kitchen zu bekämpfen. An appropriately dark opening, playing out a complex plot about the power and corruption of the big city with all the essential props for the material. There's a soft-spoken masked hero, a woman he protects, well-cast bad guys, lots of rain, dark camera filters and of course excellent action. The pursuit of "another dimension" and the dark confession of a hero torn at times between good and evil is a bit reminiscent of DC. We’ll see how it develops.
