Die Nonnen von Clichy

Nippel, Haare und Hintern mit Cellulite. Eine Inquisitor-Folterung. Der Gesandte des Satans in einem Kleid und mit roten Leggins, der von hinten die blonde Hauptheldin vergewaltigt (die Einzige ohne Cellulite). Alles auf Burgen und historischen Höfen, in historischen Kostümen aus der Zeit der Blutgräfin Elisabeth Báthory. Ein zweistündiger, erotischer, zweitklassiger Exploitation-Film, der ein ernstes Gesicht macht. Der Film ist zwar lächerlich wie eine Soap-Opera, aber er bevorzugt die sexy Hexen und nicht die sadistischen Inquisitoren und lesbischen Inquisitorinnen. Dabei arbeitet er interessant mit ihrer Konstellation. Und deshalb behält er die guilty pleasure Unterhaltung bis zur letzten Minute. Wenigstens bei mir. (29.09.2016)

I must admit that She-Demons was a disappointment for me. Jesús Franco showed us that his style got old and exhausted quite quickly. Not to mention he decided to give this particular film almost two hours of runtime. He simply overdid it. There is nothing all that interesting in the plot that makes the film worth watching for more than an hour. There's hardly any horror, the atmosphere is lacking, the torture doesn't scare or disgust, and worst of all, the eroticism is superficial, even though the women are beautiful. (24.06.2019)
