Bosch - Season 7

A big farewell party with all the trimmings. The investigation of a case of arson and the death of a little girl connected with it are the catalysts for Bosch’s rage at a game full of compromises. The fact that there are fewer episodes gives the series far greater pace. The Maddie storyline, consistently great, down to earth and captivating, with precise acting performances, is still the best thing in the whole series. Setting of the series right before the Covid bogyman raised his head was a nice move. I can’t wait for the next season. (30.07.2021)

The seventh season didn't start off well, but I like how it turned out. In the first three episodes, the creators focused more on less significant matters than on the investigation for some incomprehensible reason. It is confusing for me in a crime series, so I was beginning to lose interest in the whole season, but it seems that the writer had an epiphany in the fourth episode. The side storylines remained side storylines, an investigation began, and I ended up satisfied. / Lesson learned: Many life choices are not really choices; they somehow happen to a person.
