Lou und Hank gelingt es, Ed und Peggy in Gewahrsam zu nehmen. Gegen den Willen der Polizisten wird das Paar den South Dakota State Troopers unter der Führung von Captain Cheney übergeben. Cheney will Ed und Peggy für das Treffen mit Milligan verkabeln und so das Kansas-City-Imperium zu Fall bringen. Obwohl Lou ihnen davon abrät, lassen sich Ed und Peggy auf diesen Plan ein. Hanzee tischt inzwischen Floyd und Bear eine Lüge auf. Er erzählt ihnen, dass Dodd von der Kansas-City-Mafia gefangen gehalten wird. (ORF)

Thanks to the ninth episode, I finally found out what the talk about the Sioux Falls massacre was all about that I've been hearing throughout the entire first season. This was a great episode with an excellent atmosphere, full of brutal action, tension, and interesting development. I know I'm repeating myself over and over again, but what can I do? I saw it there. I only have one objection - aliens? Why? I'm more than satisfied with the Blumquists.
