Monsters: Dark Continent

I wanted to give it less because the movie is incredibly dragged out, but I still couldn't help but marvel at how well-done the CGI is. The effects were good and simply looked great. It felt like a mainstream production. It just needs to shorten the duration a bit, make some changes to the script, and it could reach even higher. (14.03.2016)

Now there’s these fucking monsters and the world is really turning into shit. At least if those pieces of shit wouldn’t look like they were from “Half-Life”, you know what I mean, right? -Sure, you’re right! Here’s me lying in my tent, scared out of my mind that one of those swine will jump on my head and start controlling me. -Exactly! And now imagine we have to fight them while that amateur filmmaker is following us, running here and there when things heat up thinking he will somehow turn that shaky material into film. Compared to its sequel, the first Monsters (4*) is proper popcorn fun. Anyone expecting a more action packed and viewer friendlier film after watching the trailer couldn’t be more mistaken. Really, it’s not possible to describe in words how awfully boring it is. (26.03.2015)
