Elkayem's shorts, which preceded Spider's Terror. In it, a housewife faces attacks from spiders that have grown to giant sizes due to the release of toxic substances. Through black and white imagery and a light exaggeration, it mainly evokes sci-fi B-movies from the 50s and 60s, when oversized insects dominated the film celluloid. The spiders are fully digital and the work of the renowned company Weta, so it is a joy to watch. Elkayem is more of a creative underdog (Return of the Living Dead 4 and 5), but he does a nice job with these parodies.
