In its time, Leo & Fred was broadcast as a television series in the format of a children's show, whereas I saw it as a complete film version divided by subtitles introducing individual episodes. It's hard to say how I would react if I had nostalgia for the 80s, but I saw it as a premiere as an adult and I don't find any resonance in it that could appeal to me at my age, whether in terms of poetic or visual execution. Clearly, it targets the youngest viewer. Overall impression: 25%.
