Kei ist immer noch in das gnadenlose Spiel um die Kugel GANTZ involviert. Wenn er genug Punkte sammelt, kann er seinen vor fünf Monaten im Kampf gegen die Aliens getöteten Freund Kato wieder ins Leben holen. Doch dann erhält die junge Eriko einen Mini-GANTZ mit dem Auftrag, vier Menschen zu töten, darunter Keis Freundin Tae. (TELE 5)

The established trend continues and the story gets even more complicated, which hasn't been particularly clear up to this point due to the large number of unknowns. Well, honestly, I hope the outcome of the manga will be somewhat better than the outcome of this live-action version. It's not really worth it, although the action scenes are good. It needs to play a bit more emotionally, but I don't know why I can't get under the skin of this film. Yes, the ending is literally epic, but I can't help feeling like the potential of the manga was wasted incredibly quickly here. Still, slightly better than the first film.
