Pointenreiches drittes Abenteuer der 'Ice Age'-Helden. In einer Höhle tief unter der Eisdecke entdecken sie eine Welt, in der noch Dinosaurier leben. Faultier Sid ist einer Tyrannosaurus Rex-Mama hilflos ausgeliefert. Manni, Diego und Co. starten eine turbulente Rettungsaktion. Die Mammuts Manni und Ellie erwarten Nachwuchs. Als Faultier Sid in einer Höhle ein verlassenes Nest findet und aus den Eiern süße Babys schlüpfen, wähnt auch er sich im Familienglück. Prompt wird er jedoch von der wütenden Tyrannosaurus Rex-Mama in eine unterirdische Welt verschleppt, wo noch die Giganten der Urzeit herrschen. Jetzt kann Sid nur noch auf die Hilfe seiner Freunde hoffen. Aber auch das durchgeknallte Wiesel Buck führt dort furchtlos den schier aussichtslosen Kampf gegen die Saurier. (ORF)
