Frisch verheiratet beziehen Molly und Carl Peterson ihr erstes gemeinsames Haus. Mit der trauten Zweisamkeit ist es bald vorbei, denn Carls Kumpel Randy Dupree steht vor der Tür. Er hat gerade Freundin und Wohnung verloren und sucht Unterschlupf. Ihn bei sich aufzunehmen, hat fatale Folgen. Pechvogel Randy sorgt mit derbem Junggesellcharme für Chaos.
