Die versnobbte Hausmaus Roddy St. James residiert in einer edlen Villa im noblen Londoner Viertel Kensington. Eines Tages stört die clevere Kanalratte Sid ihre gewohnt heimelige Welt. Als Roddy den Eindringling loswerden will, schlägt dieser zurück. Sid spült den verwöhnten Schnösel kurzerhand die Toilette hinunter. So landet Roddy in Londons gefährlicher Unterwelt, wo er die rothaarige Freibeuterin Rita kennen und lieben lernt. Der skrupellose Crimelord Toad führt dort jedoch ein Schreckensregiment. (ORF)
