Charlie hat für seine Engel einen brisanten Auftrag. Die nationale Sicherheit ist in Gefahr. Natalie, Dylan und Alex sollen zwei Ringe wiederbeschaffen. Diese verbergen mehr, als man ihnen ansieht. Auf den beiden Schmuckstücken sind nämlich sämtliche Daten des amerikanischen Zeugenschutzprogramms gespeichert. Ein gefährlicher, spektakulärer Fall, den nur die schlagkräftigen Engel lösen können. Die Actionszenen sind unübersichtlich und neurotisch, die Film-Parodien sind peinlich, eine Handlung gibt es hier praktisch nicht. Wenn jemand im Kino die Filmrollen durcheinanderbringen würde, würden Sie es gar nicht bemerken. Wenn dieser Film einen kommerziellen Erfolg haben wird, wird es der Anfang vom Ende der guten US-amerikanischen Film-Unterhaltung sein. Für so einen Film braucht man nämlich nur ein großes Budget. Ich bin froh, dass ich mit der zeitgenössischen Generation sterben werde und nicht die Zeit erlebe, in der mit dieser Gleichung 90 % der Hollywood-Produktion arbeiten werden.

Yeah, it’s awful bollocks. But can I honestly be mad at a film that openly admits its awfulness in every scene, doesn't take itself seriously at all, and is filmed at a killer pace that doesn't let you get bored? Sometimes, with a certain amount of detachment, you can actually enjoy this kind of bullshit. Which is not to say that I seek out this type of entertainment.

Bigger, rougher, and more action-packed may not always be harmful and ruin the impression of the first part. With the angels, there is nothing to ruin because I avoid the first one by several kilometers. The stupid bantering is surprisingly bearable this time, and the action is not only watchable but even great. Moreover, the central trio gained a lot of sex appeal with a shovel.

I enjoyed these Angels perhaps even more than the first one, it's just a pity Bill Murray didn't attend, though he probably knew why. In other words, it's bullshit, but beautiful. And there’s John Cleese. And Demi Moore. Yeah, and Lucy, Drew, and Cameron...there's a lot there:-)))
