Even though the plot was almost nonexistent, I wasn't bored the entire time. I find the atmosphere rather serious for a kids’ movie, but that's how they have it in Asia. The strongest aspect here is definitely the impeccable animation, which is innocently childlike and soft, and a touch bittersweet at the same time. The music, on the other hand, beautifully complements and portrays the feelings of the characters and the place they are in. I was captivated by Gilson's beautiful voice right from the very beginning. A lovely 4 stars. (03.10.2011)
