Im Jahr 2015 hat die Wissenschaft große Fortschritte gemacht und ist dazu in der Lage, Menschen zu replizieren - doch das ist laut dem "Gesetz des sechsten Tages" verboten. Als der Pilot Adam Gibson eines Abends nach Hause kommt und dort einen Klon von sich vorfindet, beginnt für ihn ein Kampf ums Überleben: Denn die Verantwortlichen hinter seinem Doppelgänger wollen den Familienvater unbedingt aus dem Weg schaffen. An interesting premise, but a weak script that gradually devolves into a parody of itself. Of course, some of the futuristic visions are fine and quite believable, but there’s nothing else that makes this film compelling. There is no suspense, the action is lukewarm and the cliché at the end is quite tiresome. The most entertaining part of the whole film then is Arnold's attempt at acting. But even when he does break, his smile will always look like he just stepped on a thumbtack with his bare foot.

Either a good actor and a good sci-fi whodunit, or Arnold and lots of action. The two just don't go together. That's why this film looks the way it does.
