The French creators sure know how to keep things interesting. One moment we're diving into a séance from the past, and the next, we're right back in the present with the same eerie vibes. They've done it again, delivering an intriguing plot and maintaining that excellent atmosphere throughout.

Finally, a horror series that nails the atmosphere! I'm not holding back on stars for this one. The trip back in time to the story's origins was super entertaining. Whenever the tension eased, it was worth it because I picked up on something crucial to the plot. This episode really kept me engaged from start to finish.

Excellent! The series is finally heading in the direction I was hoping for. This episode felt just as strong as the initial one. I’m really enjoying the story so far. The atmosphere is spot on, and the occasional humor contrasts nicely with the darker plot.

The first episode really stood out for me, but I'm loving the return to that classic unsettling vibe. The plot, which felt a bit stuck last time, is finally picking up steam again. This episode was much more enjoyable. Fingers crossed the series keeps up this style!

After a stellar first episode, I was really hoping the story would keep ramping up, but I was a bit let down. The reunion of the old crew after all these years seems like it's going to be a big deal (they've dropped some hints already), but the dark, oppressive vibe that hooked me before is missing now.

The first episode of the series was a pleasant surprise. I usually don't expect much from modern horror shows since they often rely on cheap jump scares, but this one was different. Instead of going for the easy scares, the French creators focused on building a genuinely tense atmosphere, and honestly, they nailed it.

It’s been thirty years since the first season of this series was filmed, and even after all those years, it doesn't cease to be entertaining. The first season clearly stands out, the others no longer offered such a perfect interplay of investigation and scientific progress, but the acting performances of the cast in the individual episodes were still great. I found “The Century of the Detective” by Thorwald truly fascinating and the first season was clearly based on it. Later seasons were no longer inspired by the book, and you can really tell.

I'm giving the final season of the series five stars. I don’t consider it to be as brilliant as the first one, but the stories were still really well written. 5*-

The third season was similarly unbalanced as the second one. There were great episodes again, but there were also considerably weaker ones, which affected the final rating. I certainly don’t think watching the third season was a waste of time, though, unlike other shows.

The final episode of the third season was significantly better than the previous one, I really enjoyed the search for a skilled forger, and the first scene surprised me. 1952 and Karl Marx? Fortunately, the creators immediately put me into the picture, but even so, I chuckled until the end.
