I can't believe I overlooked such a treasure for 3 years! It's been a few hours since I watched the film, but my excitement hasn't waned. Liam as the unstoppable father absolutely blew away all the heroes I've known up to this point. I finally felt like action was worth something again, and for good reason. The kidnapping itself was an incredible experience. I'm amazed! 5 stars.

A suspenseful plot, a great cast, and a brilliant idea. I guess that's how I would describe FlashForward. The pilot episode opened the door to something great that maintained its quality throughout. It never overplays anything unnecessarily and everything fits together. I'm glad the creators settled for just one season that managed to bring the idea to a spectacular conclusion. That was just about enough. Well done, 4.5 stars.

I wished for a new take on good old Sherlock Holmes. I wanted an interesting, unexpected, and off-the-wall plot. And then all I needed for perfection was something that would take my breath away. But that's not how it works here... Everything is kind of the same as it was before, and I have nothing to be surprised by. I felt like I was watching an attempt to improve on the first episode. I often had to work to keep my attention on the film. I found some of the dialogue to be completely unnecessary. What saves it is the fantastic atmosphere and strong actors. I have to point out in particular the few minutes on the train and the perfect escape through the forest. The ending at least brought a smile to my face. 3.5 stars.

The first episodes in particular are very funny. I haven't laughed as hard as I did at the scenes between the writer and his secretary in a long time. Ji-hwan Kang is an incredible actor who didn't disappoint here either... and his laugh!!! The music fits perfectly in every situation. The plot is new and unpredictable. I personally expected a completely different direction to the plot. The relationships there were very nice. And I have to admit that I will miss the individual characters very much. A nice surprise, 4.5 stars.

This is the second best Asian comedy I've seen. My beloved Scandal Makers still holds the top spot. And since these two films are from the same director, I have a hunch who gets the credit. I'm finally starting to get their humor properly. The characters are perfectly drawn, so I feel like I've known them for a while. The linking of the present and the past, including the choice of actresses, was also well done. The final dance was absolutely flawless. I've never seen Korean "girls" rock out like that before... bravoooo! 4.5 stars.

Korean movies about food have always got something. They manage to weave the atmosphere of cooking and life together perfectly. While I don't eat meat, I believe many will drool when they watch this. But I had much more trouble with Antique. The plot is well thought out and quite engaging, so there's no time for boredom. The atmosphere is perfectly complemented by the music and the setting. The presence of Ha-na Lee made me happy. 4 stars.

Another addition to the ranks of mediocre animal comedies. Jim Carrey is a good entertainer, but unfortunately he didn't score much here. I expected a lot of slapstick and funny movements from him. Instead, there were barely a few jokes. Fortunately, there is no limit to the cuteness of penguins, so there was something to watch. I remain unsurprised by anything but only rolled my eyes a few times. And thanks for the final song! 3 stars.

With any Korean dorama, I'm usually mostly interested in the fates of the main characters. But here it's good that everything doesn't revolve around the main couple. Because the other stories are also interesting and entertaining. Shin-hye Park is a big favorite of mine, so I was glad that she was given enough space here. Yong-hwa Jeong, on the other hand, I was quite worried about; but after a few episodes I grew to like him a lot too. Heartstrings doesn't have the same level of quality as Dream High, but it's pretty similar to it in terms of content. And finally, a good OST again. The plot is varied, the music sequences full of energy... 4.5 stars.

A beautiful film that is delivered gently and in tiny drops. Despite the fact that it deals with a rather difficult situation, it maintains its slow and steady pace. The viewer is not burdened with any unnecessarily explosive scenes. At times, I even felt like I was watching a ballet. I would have welcomed more animation, as that was the most delightful of all. The soundtrack perfectly complements the atmosphere. A nice, strong 4 stars.

I was most interested in my favorites Geun-seok Jang and Ha-neul Kim. Once again, they didn't disappoint me and showed another side of themselves. The idea of the film is pretty crazy, but it entertained me as a viewer. And when the role was given to Geun-seok Jang, it couldn't go wrong. His cuteness knows no bounds and he could prove it in a film like this. The musical scene is the icing on the cake. A beautiful 4 stars.
