Jamie Blackley

Jamie Blackley is a British actor whose body of work includes film, stage and television. He was honored at the 2013 Edinburgh International Film Festival with the prestigious award for Best Performance in a British Feature Film for his role as Mark in Andrew Douglas' British thriller "Uwantme2killhim?," which he shared with co-star Toby Regbo. Justin Edgar's film "We are the Freaks," in which Blackley starred as Jack, received a nomination in the Michael Powell Award category for Best British Feature Film as well.

Among his previous credits are Bill Condon's "The Fifth Estate," alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Bruhl; in the lead male role of Caleb in the critically acclaimed "And While We Were Here," alongside Kate Bosworth and Iddo Goldberg, which premiered at the 2012 Tribecca Film Festival; the box office hit "Snow White and the Huntsman," alongside Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, in the role of Iain; William Monahan's successful "London Boulevard," alongside Keira Knightley and Colin Farrell; the musical "London Dreams"; and the horror thriller "Prowl."

One of Screen International's UK Stars of Tomorrow, Blackley can be seen in Chris Foggin's "Kids in Love," starring Will Poulter, Alma Jodorowsky, Sebastian De Souza and Cara Delevingne.

Among his numerous British television roles are Jonny Franks in the crime drama "Endeavor," on ITV1 in 2012; Matt in the hugely successful E4 series "Misfits," opposite Robert Sheehan; and Duncan Hendred in "Midsomers Murders." He has also guest starred on Showtime's critically acclaimed "The Borgias."

On stage, Blackley was seen alongside Andrew Knott and Isabella Calthorpe in Iain Softley's critically acclaimed production of "Backbeat," about the lives, loves and formation of The Beatles, at Glasgow's Citizens Theatre. Blackley also appeared in Tony Award winner Michael Mayer's musical adaptation of "Spring Awakening," in the role of Hanschen.
