Katrin Gebbe is a German writer and director. She attended the Hamburg Media School where she directed award-winning short films. Later on, she shot her first experimental films at the Academy of Visual Arts and Design in the Netherlands, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, USA.Her first feature film Nothing Bad Can Happen, 2013, premiered at Cannes. The film and its director were awarded amongst others by the German Film Critics Association, the Hamburg Film Festival and the Tallin Black Nights Film Festival.
