Biografie (2)
Zal Batmanglij (1980) studied anthropology and English at Georgetown University, where he met Mike Cahill (Another Earth, 2011). The pair embarked upon a screenwriting course together and produced an award-winning short film The Recordist (2007). Batmanglij’s first feature was Sound of My Voice (2011) starring Brit Marling (also co-writer and co-producer) about a mysterious cult leader.
