Biografie

Film, theater, and television actor. He studied acting at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático in Malaga, screenwriting at the Factoría del Guión and film directing at the Escuela de Cine Metropolis. As a screenwriter, he won the 2014 Meeting of Screenwriters and Producers of the Community of Madrid con Que Salga El Clown. He combined his work as an actor with the study of playwriting at the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramática in Madrid. He made his film debut with Mar Adentro by Alejandro Amenábar which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and 14 Goya Awards in 2004. His work in El camino de los ingleses -directed by Antonio Banderas, nominated for the Best Newcomer Goya Award and crowned Best newcomer Award from the Lumière Foundation in 2006-, and the box office successes Fuga De Cerebros -Audience Award at the Malaga Film Festival 2009-, and Fuga De Cerebros 2, as well as the international co-production Imago Mortis -directed by Stefano Bessoni he starred alongside Geraldine and Oona Chaplin-, also stand out Embarazados, directed by Juana Macías. In theater, he has worked in productions such as "El León En Invierno", by James Goldman, directed by Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente. Within the International Festival of Classical Theater of Mérida, he participated in "Antígone" by Sophocles, directed by Mauricio García Lozano, and starred in "Hippolytus" by Euripides, directed by Emilio del Valle. For the National Dramatic Center, he has starred in "Pulmonic", by Duncan MacMillan, directed by José María Spec and "Lucado", by Rafael Superglued, directed by Amelia Ohanian, for which he was nominated for the Union of Actors Award as best drama supporting actor. In addition, he wrote, directed, and starred in the show Re cordis, selected as one of the best theatre productions of 2017 by NOTODO magazine. He has appeared in TV series such as Mis Adorables Vecinos, Pelotas, El Ministerio Del Tiempo, Carlos, Rey Emperador and Velvet, among others. In 2011, he was nominated for his work in Accusados for the Union of Actors Award for best TV supporting actor. He also premiered the series El internado Las cumbres for Amazon Prime Video.
