PATRICIO GUZMAN (1941, Santiago de Chile) The director of the Chilean trilogy, The Battle of Chile (1975-79), is one of the great filmmakers of Latin American cinema. After the military coup against elected president Salvador Allende, Guzmán was amongst the people imprisoned in Santiago de Chile football stadium.
