Biografie

Dragoș Bucur was born in 1977 in Bucharest. After he studied drama, he made his film debut in 2001 in Cristi Puiu's Stuff and Dough, selected for the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes. He then attracted a new generation of Rumanian film directors including Radu Muntean who directed him in several films – The Rage, The Paper Will Be Blue, Boogie (selected for the Directors' Fortnight, 2008), Tuesday, After Christmas (selected for Un Certain Regard, 2010). He also worked with director Corneliu Porumboiu for the short film Liviu's Dream in 2003 and Police, Adjective that won the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section in 2009.
