Juan Manuel Aragón has a Bachelor in Sociology (University Complutense of Madrid). After been working in United Kingdom and Switzerland, , Juan Manuel studied Script and Filmmaking when he returned to Madrid in 2006. He is the co-founder of Mesa5 Producciones. With this production company, he has written and directed the following short films: Telemarketing Nation (2008), El Caballero de la Voz Ronca (The Gentleman with the Husky Voice) (2009), Je Déteste (2011), Peluquero Futbolero (Hooligan Hairdresser) (2012) and I Feel Lost (2012). During 2012, he has also written and finished shooting his short, El Despido (The Dismissal). In addition to that, Juan Manuel Aragón directed and presented the radio programme “Érase Una Vez ... El Cine” (“Once Upon a Time … at the Movies”), which was recognised with the “ACE Radio 2010” award for its special focus on the world of short films.
