Erik Gandini (born in Bergamo, Italy). Gandini moved to Sweden at the age of 19. He debuted with the documentary RAJA SARAJEVO (1994) which immediately gained recognition worldwide followed by NOT WITHOUT PRIJEDOR (1996) about young Bosnian refugees in Sweden returning to Bosnia to join the war, AMERASIANS (1998) about the 100.000 children of American soldiers in Vietnam, and SACRIFICIO – WHO BETRAYED CHE GUEVARA (2001) (co-directed by Tarik Saleh), that stirred an… (mehr)
