Bárbara Mori

Barbara began her acting career in Mexican soap operas. At 26, she shifted to film where she worked with some of Mexico's most notable directors including Alvaro Curiel, Sebastian del Amo, and Mariana Chenillo. Barbara studied directing in the NYFA, her feature film debut is inspired by the short film Mas Fuerte Que el Miedo. The film is based on Barbara's childhood, which she considers as magical as it was violent.
