Ben Younger (Director, Story By, Screenplay By) was born and bred in New York. He trained in the art of filmmaking by working as a grip on feature films, commercials, and music videos. Inspired by an early job interview at a less-than-respectable brokerage house in Long Island, Younger, at the age of 26, wrote and directed his first film, Boiler Room, starring Ben Affleck, for which he earned two Independent Spirits Awards nominations – Best First Screenplay and Best First Feature. His next feature film, Prime, starred Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep. Ben has since completed Bleed for This, a boxing film executive-produced by Martin Scorsese and starring Miles Teller and Aaron Eckart. The movie will be released in November of 2016. Ben is currently in pre-production on his next feature, Isle of Man, a motorcycle racing film that shoots in 2017. Ben lives in Brooklyn.
