Biografie
José Ramón Mikelajáuregui began his career as assistant director to Arturo Ripstein and José Luis García Agraz. He has made fiction and documentary films, and won numerous prizes, among them two Ariel Awards and the Coral Award for Best Documentary in the Havana Film Festival. He has taught at the University of Guadalajara and the CCC film school.
