Biografie

María Renée Prudencio studied Hispanic Literature at the Univeristy of Chile. She has lived in Mexico City for more than 15 years. She played in La Vida Después, David Pablos debut filmed in 2012, and Fernando Eimbcke’s Club Sándwich, from the same year, among others. In film she has collaborated with Francisco Franco on the scripts of the movies Quemar las Naves (2007) and Tercera llamada (2013), which premiered at the Guadalajara International Film Festival; the latter earned them an Ariel award in 2014 for best adapted screenplay. On TV she has written several series for Columbia Pictures such as soap operas for TV Azteca.
