After gaining plenty of directing experience while working on his eight short films Federico Cecchetti, born in Mexico in 1982, released his first feature film "El Sueño del Mara'akame" (2016) this year. Cecchetti studied film at an academy in Mexico and Italy Subsequently, he attended programs like the Berlinale Talent Campus and the Locarno Filmmaker Academy. Cecchetti got his inspiration for the screenplay for his second movie "Cartes desde el país de los Tarahumaras" during his visit of the Festival de Cannes in France.
