Andrea Magnani was born in Rimini and lives between New York, Trieste and some other cities in the world. Following his degree in political sciences, he approached cinema in 2002 and worked as a screenwriter for film and for television. He subsequently decided to concentrate on direction, directing documentaries and short films – among them, „Basta guardarmi“ (2006), selected at the World Film Festival in Montreal and at the Giffoni Film Festival, and „Caffè Trieste“ (2009), selected at several festivals and awarded as Best Documentary at the Trieste Film Festival. Easy is his first fiction feature film.
