Biografie
Alex Anwandter (b. 1983, Santiago, Chile) is known chiefly for his music. He has thus far brought out four albums, he is a respected director of music videos, and he has toured Latin America, the USA and Europe.
His debut You'll Never Be Alone was instigated by an actual case of the torture of a 24-year-old gay man who in 2012 became a symbol of the fight for LGBTQ rights in Chile. Anwandter was awarded a Teddy (Special Jury Prize) for his film at this year's Berlinale.
