Biografie

Enrico Caria, a satirist, journalist and screenwriter, created a fantasy crime trilogy for the big screen: 17, ovvero l'incredibile e triste storia del cinico Rudy Caino (1991), starring Peppe Barra and Giovanni Mauriello; Carogne - Ciro and me (1995), starring Alessandro Haber, Daniele Formica and Milena Vukotich; and Blek Giek (2001), starring Lillo e Greg. These were followed by the docufilm Vedi Napoli e poi muori, featuring Roberto Saviano, and the mockumentary L'era legale, starring Patrizio Rispo, Cristina Donadio and Isabella Rossselini. Caria is also the author of two novels, Bandidos, vivere e morire al di sopra dei propri mezzi (Feltrinelli, 1995) and L'uomo che cambiava idea (Rizzoli, 2006). Indagine su un mago senza testa (Fanucci, 2016) is his latest hard-boiled crime novel.
