Biografie

Alex Garcia is a graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.

He joined Legendary Entertainment in 2009 as senior vice president of production and served as executive vice president of production. He is an executive producer on Legendary's Godzilla franchise and Kong: Skull Island, having shepherded the project since their inception. He also served as co-producer on the projects 300: Rise of an Empire and was executive producer on Jack the Giant Slayer and Blackhat.

Prior to his time at Legendary, Garcia ran filmmaker Bryan Singer's Bad Hat Harry Productions, where he served as executive in charge of production on the first three seasons of Fox and NBC-Universal's hugely successful television series House M.D. Garcia was also co-executive producer on the 2005 hit Syfy channel miniseries, The Triangle–overseeing production on location in South Africa and executive producer on the 2007 horror feature Trick 'r Treat for Legendary. Garcia also worked on the 2008 Tom Cruise WWII thriller Valkyrie during his time at the Bad Hat Harry Productions.
