Biografie

Her debut, the documentary, Intimidades de Shakespeare y Victor Hugo, was awarded in more than thirty international film festivals, to name a few: San Sebastian, BAFICI, IDFA and La Habana. She also received the Ariel Award to Best First Documentary Film in 2008. Her first feature film, Paraísos Artificiales, was supported by Hubert Bals Fund and by the Tribeca Film Institute. It premiered in the IFFR 2010. In 2012, she premiered Fogo at the Directors’ Fortnight of Cannes. In 2015 she made Epitafio, in co-direction with Rubén Imaz. In 2020, she premiered Selva Trágica at the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival and, a year later, the movie arrived to 190 countries through Netflix.
