Biografie

Dinara Drukarova debuted as an actress at the age of 12 in Bouge pas, meurs, ressuscite (Freeze, Die, Come to Life, Vitali Kanevski, 1989). Worthy of note in her films as an actress are Des monstres et des hommes (Of Freaks and Men, Aleksei Balabanov, 1998), for which she won the Best Actress Award at the European Film Awards, Depuis qu’Otar est parti (Since Otar Left, Julie Bertuccelli, 2003), for which she was nominated for the Best New Actress César, Gainsbourg (vie héroique) (Gainsbourg. A Heroic Life, Joann Sfar, 2010), Amour (Michael Haneke, 2012) and Trois souvernis de ma jeunesse (My Golden Days, Arnaud Desplechin, 2015). In 2018 she directed the short film Ma branche toute fine, award-winner at the Warsaw Festival. Grand marin is her debut feature.
