TAMMY DAVIS was born in Raetihi, New Zealand. He studied drama at Northland Polytechnic and is a prolific film and stage actor, having appeared in Whale Rider (02) and Black Sheep (06), which both played the Festival. His films as director include the shorts Ebony Society (11) and Sonny, My Older Brother (11). Born to Dance (15) is his feature directorial debut.
