Biografie
Born in Ankara in 1980, he studied Film Directing at the Konrad Wolf Film School in Germany. In 2008, he directed Free Entrance. In 2009, he worked as first assistant director on Ezel Akay's Yedi Kocalıu Hürmüz (Seven Husbands for Hurmuz). After at-tending the New York Film Academy's Filmmaking Program in 2010, he made his thesis film, Jerry. His debut feature, Sivas, won the special Jury Prize at it's Venice 2014 premiere.
