Biografie

Originally from France, Astrid Adverbe was born in Madagascar and grew up in the West Indies. Coming from the theatre, she has starred in several films by Paul Vecchiali, including Nuits blances sur la jetéeC’est l’amourLes 7 déserteurs (FICX 2017) or Train de vies (FICX 2018). She has also participated in independent French productions by Pascale Bodet, Nicolas Leclere, Bojena Horackova, Boris Lehman… as well as Pamela Varela’s El viaje de Ana. Along with her acting career, she is also working as a documentary film director, as in Mé Damné and Ma fleur maladive, which were released theatrically in 2014 following their festival runs.
