Roberto Flores Prieto (b. 1971, Barranquilla, Colombia) graduated in 1999 from Cuba's International School of Film and Television at San Antonio de los Baños. His feature debut Wounds (Heridas, 2008) and the documentary Daughter of the Light (La hija de la luz, 2009) were warmly received at festivals in Latin America and Europe. His next feature Chasing Fireflies (Cazando luciérnagas, 2013) played festivals around the world, winning numerous awards. At present he directs a children's animated series for television, as well as a specialized program about filmmaking entitled "Traveling." He is concurrently also working on other projects. Pink Noise, for which he also served as producer and writer, is his third feature.
